Charlotte Nepinak is currently serving on her 2nd term on Council. Some of the past portfolios she has held included education.
Charlotte has previously worked for Skownan as a Community Health Representative and a Wellness Worker. Focussing on community wellness and social issues, Charlotte has completed a Psycho-Drama Therapy course and is certified in Focussing and as a Life Skills Coach. She also has a diploma in Community Centered Therapy.
Charlotte was a member of the Vision Seekers Committee for eleven years. In the last twenty years, she has learned from her mentors and elders on recover and wellness. She tries her best to live a good life (mino-bimadiziiwin) and follow the good road. Charlotte is also an active member of the Skownan School Committee for the past fifteen years.
Charlotte is committed in spearheading the annual women’s healing camp and the annual family healing camp. She believes in personal growth, healing, respecting each other, and respecting others’ beliefs. Charlotte’s home is always blessed daily with visitors, family, friends, and helpers.
