Skownan First Nation is in the beginning stages of developing their constitution.  A Governance Circle (committee) has been created and the members are as follows:

Daylon Catcheway, Danny Catcheway, Lushia Nepinak, Sarah Maud, Tim Catcheway, Marie Nepinak, Priscilla Maud and Kristy St. Paul.

The Community Engagement sessions where membership involvement is important is as follows:

Hello! Aniin! My name is Kendra Kakewash and I am Skownan First Nations Local Nation Helper.  With leadership, community members and the governance circle, we are aiming to have a draft constitution in place by the end of March 2020. I strongly believe in inclusion in the constitutional development process. I am looking forward to gathering and your knowledge and teachings so that we can prosper for our future generations.

I have a B.A. degree from Brandon University and I am currently enrolled at the University of Victoria in the Indigenous Community Development and Governance program.

Hello. Aniin!  My name is Carla Catcheway I will be working alongside the Local Nation Helper Kendra Kakewash and the governance circle (committee) as a local nation helper till the end of March 2020.
